Donations will be accepted only from Indian citizens.
Corporate entities and government agencies are not permitted to make donations.
All donations must be made through credit card, NACH, e-Mandates, online transfer, cheques, drafts, or swiping machines. Cash donations are not accepted.
As per Section 80G(5)(viii) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, donors must provide a Unique Identification Number to claim a tax deduction. Green Society of India is required to submit donation details to the authorities.
Donors are requested to provide one of the following identification details:

Is the GSI registered?

Yes, GSI is a registered non-profit organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, headquartered in New Delhi.

What impact has the NGO made so far?

GSI has successfully conducted plantation drives involving students, corporates, and civil society members. We have motivated communities to adopt healthy and sustainable lifestyles, organized free health camps, cleaned public places, and contributed to the restoration of lakes and the Yamuna River. Additionally, we have distributed STEM kits to school students to encourage scientific learning.

Absolutely! We value transparency and will provide regular updates on how your donation is making an impact. You will receive both an e-newsletter and a hard copy of our quarterly newsletter, delivered to your doorstep, highlighting our progress and showcasing how your contribution is being utilized.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, your donation is eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, and you may avail of a 50% tax deduction as per the provisions of the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.
